Eighteen-year-old Brie O’Mara has so much going for her: a loving family in the sidelines, an heiress for a roommate, and dreams that might just come true. Big dreams–of going to acting school, finishing college and making a name for herself. She is about to be the envy of everyone she knew. What more could she hope for? Except her dreams are about to lead her down the road to nightmares. Nightmares that could turn into a deadly reality.
Dead Dreams, Book 1, a young contemporary adult psychological thriller and mystery.
Dead Dreams is a great read. This read is really a thriller for the YA genre and a very good one at that. I thought each character was well written, and I know other people commented on how they didn’t always like Brie, but you don’t have to always like the main character. She’s well written, defined, and it’s because she’s been given real traits that she seems to act a little annoying. I thought the dynamic in the book was wonderful, the nightmares were well detailed and written. Overall, it had a fast pace and a good plot line. I enjoyed reading it and the cliffhanger made me definitely interested in book two!
Well done! 🙂
